Our Joycup Freshness Guarantee and Shipping Information
We use the best quality ingredients made to order to ensure your order arrives as fresh as the moment it leaves our commercial kitchen. Should it arrive in an unacceptable condition, contact us immediately at info@thejoycupco.com to discuss re-shipment or refund options.
Please Note:
Unlike most chocolate in grocery stores that sits on shelves for six months to a year, our chocolate cups contain no wax or preservatives and are packaged for peak freshness for up to two weeks upon delivery.
Please keep in a cool dark place. Boxed Joycups can be refrigerated but we recommend placing with care as chocolate may absorb strong food odors. Please keep in mind chocolate is temperature-sensitive.
In transit, temperature fluctuations can occasionally occur and cause some of the cocoa butter to rise to the surface of the chocolates or “bloom.” This is a cosmetic issue only and does not affect the flavor or quality of the chocolates.
Satisfaction Guarantee
At The Joycup Co. every purchase comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely happy with your order, please immediately contact owner Danna Dykstra-Coy at (805) 458-2283 or e-mail at info@thejoycupco.com for a trade or refund of your credit card, including shipping charges.
Please Note: The Joycup Co.'s Satisfaction Guarantee is void for any of these reasons:
1) If damage occurs due to no one being present to accept delivery.
2) If the delivery address is incorrect and results in a delivery delay.
Shipping and Handling:
To ensure your shipment arrives in the best condition, we use Priority Mail 2-3 day shipping for all of our products. For warm weather climates, our packages come with lightweight frozen gel packs year-round at no additional cost to you. We reserve the right to change shipping options based on weather conditions and zone. We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.
All chocolate orders will be shipped only on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Orders placed Wednesday through Friday will be shipped on Monday or sooner if possible. Express (next day delivery) shipping is available upon request.
Please be sure to provide a shipping address where someone will be present for delivery. We recommend shipping to a business address when possible. Please double-check addresses before completing your order. The Joycup Co. is not responsible for orders delayed, damaged or returned as a result of an incorrect address. We may charge additional shipping and product replacement fees if an order is returned due to an incorrect address.
We currently ship within the United States. International shipping is not available at this time.
